July 8th Calaveras lake. One complaint
The water at the wall was boiling with reds. We hauled in our share on silver spoons. The reds came and went so we had to be patient and observant. Took a couple nice cats too.
We spent a few hours trolling spoons. Saw a bunch of boats pulling them in. We only took a big blue cat only.
I do have one complaint. When we got to the fish cleaning tables, one of them was over flowing with discarded fish parts. When we asked about this, they said they didn’t know when the maintenance staff was. We ended up cleaning a bit just to use it.
